<aside> 👋🏼
Hi, welcome to my drawing board! This is a living page where I document what I am brewing currently.

My husband and I are building a tool for us to manage our money. Now, ‘managing money’ sounds big and complex, and it is to some extent. So we have broken it down into phases. We are aiming to achieve this in phase 1:
Since we were very clear about our requirements and were excited to see it taking shape, we turned to a prompt-to-prototype tool: Figma Make. Together, we drafted a detailed prompt (or so we thought😅). See it below:
Let's create a web version of the app 'Splitwise'. Include following features:
1. User should be able to log transactions: Title, Date, Amount, Who paid, (paid by one, paid by 2 people but contributing different amounts), Category/labels, Description (optional).
2. Option to split the expense by %. Option to set a default % split.
3. Ability to bucket the expenses in Needs, Wants or Savings.
And what we got for first version wasn’t that bad! See below:

We continued prompting the changes needed one by one.
1. Allow decimal input for amount.
2. Also auto-suggest % values when entered any 1 value.
3. Create 2 users in the system - Tejas and Manali. Which can be selected for 'who paid' field.
But we realised this is taking up more time than required and the output is not as per the prompt.
